Students at KLMU are exposed to a unique and multi-cultural environment at the campus which integrates with its surroundings to prepare them for a successful career. The university invests millions of Ringgit to ensure that the students have access to the latest technology and equipment in order that they are prepared with real world practice.

With an inspiring view of the Petronas Twin Towers, the current KLMU campus is strategically located within the business, shopping and commercial districts of Kuala Lumpur. Specifically, it is situated next to the junction of Jalan Raja Laut and Jalan Sultan Ismail. Within walking distance are prominent office buildings, shopping complexes, hotels, restaurants, banks and so forth.

One of the most apparent advantages the campus has over the other institutions is that it is well-serviced by the public transport system. There is a bus stop located directly in front of the campus while the Sultan Ismail Star line LRT station is only a block away. Within walking distance is the Medan Tuanku Monorail station. The renowned Putra World Trade Centre is only one LRT station away from the campus.

The KLMU city campus is comprised of two building blocks, and the main facilities are consistently upgraded according to the needs of the market or the developments in the related industries.

Recently investment totaling RM2 million has been ploughed into the project to build modern and sophisticated facilities for Faculty of Tourism & Hospitality such as three training kitchens which can accommodate 20 students for each session, a room for pastry production, an air-conditioned room for the fine art of chocolate preparation and ice-carving, several practical rooms including a "kopitiam" styled café fully operated and managed by the faculty's students.

which is geared to expose them to the realities of the world outside besides providing them pertinent experiences on facing real world challenges as well as help them transition from being students to actual potential employers.

Another RM1 million has been invested for the Faculty of Health Sciences to set up state-of-the-art labs and equipment. These labs provide a rich learning environment for the Medical Lab Technician, Nursing, Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy programs.
