Programme Description

This diploma deals with the functional rehabilitation of lifestyle, work, leisure and also the physical aptitude of a patient, with an aspect of physiotherapy. Studying occupational therapy will develop medical knowledge and train students to assess dysfunctions in the activity of daily living (ADL), work productivity, and leisure, plus how to restore patients' movements and motivation. The program is suitable for individuals who want to contribute towards society by helping patients, whether able-bodied or disabled, achieve the very best with their lives.


Programme Aims

To equip the students with fundamental medical aptitude as well as specialized knowledge and skills in rehabilitation
To produce competent professionals that contribute in the field of occupational therapy and competently solve patients' healthcare problems



Career Prospects


Occupational therapists are in high demand in government and private hospitals, health clinics, day care centers, elderly care centers and special children care centers so the prospects for work are very good. Graduates may also pursue higher education in medical science, biomedicine, biotechnology or rehabilitation.
