Programme Description
This course will teach students the basic principles required to solve graphic design problems. Using standard industry software and related programs, students will develop the ability and confidence to determine appropriate and successful designs, demonstrate effective use of color, dominant elements, typographical and production skills to make effective design layouts which meet industry standards. The degree gives students the ability to solve graphic design problems and learn typographic aesthetics, master Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign, plus other multimedia software, prepare a portfolio for professional presentation and evaluation, and develop analytical thinking together with problem solving skills relevant for the graphic design industry. The portfolio will contain samples of projects representing various graphic arts software programs for professional presentation and evaluation.
